Amity University Madhya Pradesh celebrates AZADI-70 “Yaad Karo Kurbani” with patriotic zeal and fervour

Amity University Madhya Pradesh celebrated Freedom Fortnight Celebration – “Azadi 70 – Yaad Karo Kurbani” to commemorate the freedom fortnight which celebrates 70 years of India’s Independence.
In order to exhibit high order of gratitude and respect towards our dedicated freedom fighters and their selfless efforts to bestow us with independence, an array of cultural activities based on the blueprint prepared by HRD Ministry, Govt of India, were organised in the AUMP campus in the form of patriotic solo and group song competition on August 22,2016.
The students of ASET, ASCO, ABS, ALS, ASFDT, AIBAS, ASAP and AIB participated in solo and group song competition based on patriotism. The students displayed immense enthusiasm during the competition. The overwhelmed audience also sang along with the participants. Even the solo performances turned into chorus with positive vibes of audience and their love for nation. All the schools participated with utmost gusto and the spirit of patriotism really came true. The students were full of zeal and gave their melodious presentation. The AUMP campus became resplendent with a feeling of pride.
The Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Lt Gen.V. K. Sharma boosted the morale of the enthusiastic AMITIANS. Speaking on the occasion he said that we rely on today’s youth, our students and are confident that they would shoulder the responsibility to bring laurels to our nation.
He further told the students that taking care of this nation is your duty.
On August 23, 2016, all the students, faculty and staff of AUMP formed a human chain in the shape of AZADI 70 to show the spirit of patriotism. Soaked in patriotism, all the AMITIANS proudly displayed the spirit of unity and integrity. The Mass recitation of the National Anthem by all the students and faculty reverberated at the campus of AUMP which made the environment patriotic.
