Amity Institute of Biotechnology organized Industry Connect Program with Labrynthe Biotech India

Amity Institute of Biotechnology, Amity University Gurgaon organized Industry Connect Program with Labrynthe Biotech India on 8th July 2016. Dr Siddharth, CEO, Labrynthe, shared his passion and plans with AUH along with his mentor, Prof Pawan Dhar, Centre of Special Molecular Medicine at JNU, New Delhi for a fruitful collaboration with Amity Innovation Incubator towards a prospective return on investment model based on research and development of novel biomolecules using synthetic biotechnology.

The meeting was convened by Prof Rajendra Prasad (Director AIB/AIISH, Dean Research) along with Mr Ojasvi Babber (AII, Noida), Prof Vikas Madhukar (Dy. Director, ABS), Dr Machiavelli Singh (AIB), and industry guest Dr Siddharth (CEO, Labrynthe) and Prof Pawan Dhar (JNU, New Delhi).

The broader aim of "Labrynthe" is to deliver practical solutions for social applications. Team Labrynthe is currently working on the 2nd Phase of “Synthetic Gene Project” towards experimental validation of computational predictions. Through this novel drug discovery pipeline,they propose to deliver bio therapeutics for applications in cancer, neurodegenerative diseases, microbial and parasitic infections. To regularly deliver patents for AUH in a reasonable timeframe, the visitors delighted to share their expertise, achievements and plans. The agenda of the meeting was to discuss the points to receive foundational support (capital & infrastructure) connected with milestones, and venture capital investment with a return of the investment based model as incubates in the Amity Innovation Incubator.

In the end, Prof Rajendra Prasad, Dean (Research) & Director, AIB/AIISH acknowledged and appreciated the efforts of Team Labrynthe with a proposal on biotechnology based incubation at Amity University Gurgaon Innovation incubator.
