Launch of Quarterly Fashion Forecast Magazine
About the Magazine Launch
Amity School of Fashion Design & Technology (ASFDT) at AUM has prepared the first edition of its quarterly fashion forecast magazine ‘Style Q’. The launch of summer edition of the magazine was done on Wednesday, 27th July, 2016 at 2:00 pm, in the presence of the Honorable Vice Chancellor, Prof V.V khole, Vice-President, Maj Gen S.Sridhar, Registrar, Dr. A. Srivastav, all the HODs, HOIs and coordinators of the various schools of AUM. Two external guests present for the occasion were Prof (Dr) G T Thampi, Principal, Thadomal sahani College of Engineering and Dr. Rajdeep Sunder, Head, Department of Communication & journalism, University of Mumbai. All students and faculty of ASFDT were present. During the launch glimpses of the magazine were shown & explained by the Prof (Dr) Bhawana Chanana, Director, ASFDT. The magazines were launched and a copy each was given to the Hon VC, Registrar, VP, external guests, all schools.
About the magazine
In sync with the fashion calendar, the magazine will report a fashion forecast covering all elements of design; line, color, texture, silhouette and detail for Spring– Summer & Fall-Winter. The magazine will provide updates on technological developments in the garment and textile sectors. It will also feature the fashion events organized on the campus by the School of Fashion Design & Technology and the fashion club – Ami-trendz.
It is designed as a 20-page colored document in form of a hard copy and its e-version.
This magazine is part of an academic exercise for the students of ASFDT under the guidance of their faculty.
