5th Asia Pacific Conference of Young Scientists at Amity University Gurgaon, July 13-18, 2016
The 5th Asia Pacific Conference of Young Scientists (APCYS) a program to promote innovation activities in science and technology in young minds held between July 13-18 at Amity University Gurgaon Campus. This is the first time that this conference is being held in India.
The Conference saw around 250 Students Participated in the event. Children aged 14-18 years from 12 different countries like Indonesia, Turkey, Qatar, Thailand, Malaysia, Guam, India, Nepal etc exhibits their science projects through Poster Presentation followed by Oral Presentation. These Posters and presentations were adjudged by the leading scientists of india. Chief Guest of the Inaugral Ceromony, Dr. Robert Hidalgo, Chairman, MILSET Worldwide and Dr. Monika Rahatri, Chairperson, APCYS International Steering Committee was also felicitated as Honorary Fellow of Amity University Gurgaon. Post the Competition, International Students went to see Indian Heritage- TajMahal at Agra.
APCYS was organized in India by The Foundation for Glocal Science Initiatives through international support from APCYS International.
