AMITY COLLEGE OF NURSING ORGANIZED HEALTH AWARENESS PROGRAMME ON ANTI-TOBACCO DAY
A Role Play and Health Awareness Programme was conducted at Civil Hospital, Gurgaon, on 26th May on the occasion of ANTI-TOBACCO DAY 2016, by BSc(H) Nursing VIII Sem Students under the Supervision of Ms. Poonam Sharma, MSN,RNRM Assistant Professor, Mental Health Nursing and Ms.. Ruma Choudhary, RNRM, Clinical Instructor, Amity College of Nursing.
The aim of conducting this Programme was to increase the awareness about the prevention of tobacco use. This programme helped in spreading message about the adverse effect of tobacco chewing and developing increasing risk of cancer and other killer diseases in the society. Team received an excellent feedback from patients and Hospital staff, Gurgaon. The programme ended up with the Good wishes to all Audience-with the theme “Yuva pidi ka yahi hai naara nasha mukt ho desh hamara”.
