Wacom Workshop was conducted by Amity School of Communication & Amity School of Fashion Design and Technology. Enthusiastic students of Bsc Animation, BA(J&MC), Fashion and Fine Arts attended the Wacom workshop conducted by the creative director of Wacom , Sahdev Dave and Nikhil Shah (Manager Wacom) organized by Mr.Sudhakar Kalgutkar (HOD,BSc Animation) Asst.Professor, Nitesh Gole.
Art always play a key role in developing and nurturing creativity and imagination. Wacom workshop for students allowed professors to create a richer learning experience in the classroom. Dr.Bhavana Chanana, Director of Amity School of Fashion was also present to encourage students of Fashion and Fine Arts
Mr.Sahdev introduced the natural and intuitive touch of pen-centric Wacom tablets by demonstrating art work digitally and the easy way of illustrating fashion Models to streamline their workflow. Touch on Wacom tools, their features, and the benefits they open up in Photoshop and Lightroom.
The session was totally interactive, give and take session. They learnt to address some of those more challenging animation, designing, photographic issues and discovered the tools which were just right for them both in software and hardware. They also learnt how to get the most out of the tools they already own.
Benefits gained
Students learned different skills by working in a setting where they were supervised by a work-place professional, and had the opportunity to achieve their own learning goals.
