Amity College of Nursing Amity University Gurgaon Celebrated World Immunization Week 2016. There are many ‘health days’ to promote important public health issues, many of which are supported by the World Health Organization and partners, Hence World Immunization week is considered as mandated by the World Health Assembly, that are recognized every year by WHO and celebrated on the last week of April.
The aim of conducting this programme was to increase the awareness about immunization and bring down infant mortality rate in the area. This programme helps us to display a great role in disbursing the real message about the effect of lack of awareness on developing increasing infant mortality rate in the country. The programme was appreciated by audience. Session received a excellent feedback from listeners and Unit In charge (Pediatric Unit) of ESI Hospital, Gurgaon. The programme ended up with the Good wishes to all Audience-“HAPPY WORLD IMMUNIZATION WEEK 2016”.
