Amity Gurgaon Half marathon third edition held on April 03, 2016
Amity Gurgaon Half Marathon was organised by Amity University Gurgaon on April 03rd, 2016 at Leisure Valley Park, Sector 29, Gurgaon. The 3rd Edition of the event witnessed more than 10000 participants from India & abroad with excellent support from brands. Over 20 countries participants wore their running gear and participated in one of the largest half marathon in Delhi NCR the marathon which had three categories 21KM, 10KM and 5KM.Hindustan Times was the media partner of the event that was supported by the Gurgaon administration.
The marathon was organised to spread awareness about health and environment. It was flagged off by Dr. Aseem Chauhan Chancellor of Amity University Gurgaon. “This marathon is for peace, health, harmony, youth women safety and equality said by Dr. Aseem Chauhan .Several entertainment and informative activities like Zumba, Folk dance by amity university students and painting exhibition were also organised. It was great to come here I like running and half marathon was a wonderful experience” said by Astha Mukherjee.
