Amity Institute of Biotechnology organizes Farewell Party

Amity Institute of Biotechnology organized a Farewell function for the senior students of M.Sc IV sem, M.Tech IV sem, B.Tech VIII sem and B.Sc. (H) VI sem on Monday, 21st March 2016. The event was held in B-Block Auditorium, Amity University, Gwalior

On the day of the event all the students of third, second and first year cordially welcomed their seniors. The farewell programme started around 05:30 PM. The main hosts of the event were Ms. Niharika Agarwal and Mr. Deepak Sharma. The programme began with the auspicious lamp lighting ceremony by Pro Vice Chancellor Prof.(Dr.) M.P. Kaushik, Dean(Academics) and Director-AIB, Prof.(Dr.) R.S. Tomar and Dean Research Prof.(Dr.) S.P. Bajpai. Pro Vice Chancellor (Prof.) Dr. M.P. Kaushik gave his best wishes to the senior students on the occasion. Prof. (Dr.) R S Tomar, Dean (Academics) and Director- AIB in his address shared his valuable thoughts and gave his best wishes to the outgoing batches. The audience were delighted to watch the dance performance of first year students after which there was a Ramp Walk competition to choose Mr. and Ms. Farewell. This was followed by the games activity events in which seniors were asked to perform some tasks. After this the juniors from second and final year showcased their talent in singing, lyrical skit performance and dancing. The audience enjoyed their energetic performances. This was followed by distribution of titles for each senior of M.Sc. IV sem., M. Tech IV sem., B.Tech VIII sem and B.Sc. (H) VI sem. The event came to end with awards giving ceremony for punctuality, best outfit and Mr. & Ms. Farewell. Ms. Pallavi Parashar (B. Sc.) was crowned Miss Farewell and Mr. Pratik Lahiri (B. Tech.) was crowned Mr. Farewell. 

After the closing of awards ceremony, audience moved to the lobby area of ‘Block-A’ for Dinner and DJ party where they enjoyed a lot. With teary eyes, everyone was promising each other to stay in contact forever and was trying to collect as many memories as possible. It was truly an evening to remember forever.
