Established in 2012, Amity School of Liberal Arts (ASLA) attempts to impart holistic, theme-based and comprehensive knowledge to students of Humanities and Social Sciences. Presently, ASLA offers world-class undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral degrees in History, Political Science, and English. In addition, the School acts as the nodal centre for value-added courses such as Communication Skills, Physical Education etc. The faculty members at ASLA are committed to teaching and mentoring students through traditional, modern and innovative approaches like use of multi-media and creativity tools to make teaching-learning effective and meaningful. Within two years of its existence, Amity School of Liberal Arts has come to be associated with research and academic excellence coupled with values, ethics and wholesome development of students. The School coordinates the Amity University Haryana Debating Society as well as the Poetry Club. It organizes literary events throughout the year to provide a forum for expressing creativity both for faculty and students. As part of its research activities ASLA has started publishing a news-letter and an international journal (International Journal of Innovations in TESOL and Applied Linguistics) quarterly. International Journal of Innovations in TESOL and Applied Linguistics: IJITAL (ISSN: 2454-6887) was released on the 6th of August, 2015. The journal, with its immense worldwide popularity, has already made a mark in the field of language pedagogy and ELT (English Language Teaching) research. For the second issue of this quarterly journal, authors are solicited to submit unpublished articles in the field of language education by October 31, 2015 to skjha@ggn.amity.edu.

To ensure international quality of research and publications, IJITAL publishes only six articles per issue and maintains zero tolerance on plagiarism. The Journal can be accessed at www.ijital.org .
