INDUSTRIAL VISIT AT MULTISPHERE PVT.LTD Organised by Amity School of Engineering & Technology, Gurgaon

An Industry visit at Multi sphere Power Solution Pvt. Ltd was arranged for the students of engineering. It was the inauguration of MPS (Multi sphere Power Solution Private Limited) Company.  It was overall a great experience for students as it got in depth of both technical and industrial concepts. Students were taught about various power supplies used in military, aerospace. There was an overview explanation of DC/AC Power Supply, AC/AC Power Supply, UPS Power Supply, DC/DC Power Supply etc. Students came to know about the Technology used there and its capabilities. They were also given knowledge about the Structural and Thermal analysis. There were 2 Lectures on technical by stuff of DRDO and 2 Lectures on Company manufacturing and processing by the founders of the company.

The founders of Multisphere Power Solutions have been associated since 1984 as leading designer/manufacturer of custom Power Supplies for the Civilian, Military and Aerospace applications.

 Prof.Bhim Singh (HOD EE Dept., IIT Delhi) presented a technical glimpse of AC/DC Convertors. Multisphere Power Solutions also offers a wide variety of Military COTS / MOTS units DC/DC, AC/DC, DC/AC, GCU and UPS that are MIL-STD compliant MIL-STD-704, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD- 810, MIL-STD-1275 and MIL-STD-1399. They specialize in DC/DC power supplies, AC/DC converters, DC/AC inverters, GCU’s (Generator Control Units) and UPS (Uninterruptable Power Supplies) build for military applications. MPS has been developing and manufacturing many power supply related equipment, like- DC/DC converters, DC/AC inverters, etc. MPS has strategic alliance with renowned ccc, hongkong and enercon Israel that covers manufacturing of hi-rel custom power supply products progressively by mps that have been hitherto imported by Indian customers from these companies. 

“We had really a great fun there and a lot of knowledge that we acquire.” Says Apoorva Sood (5th sem ECE, ASET, AUH).

Another student Ayush Awasthi (5th sem ECE, ASET, AUH) also shared his experience that his industrial visit was a new and inspiring activity for him. He has learnt about the corporate lifestyle and was pleased to interact with the CEOs and founders.
