Distinguished Global Indian Speaker Series at Amity University Gurgaon
In congruence with the aim and vision of Founder President Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan, for enhancing Internationalization at Amity University, Office of International Affairs at AUG has instituted “Distinguished Global Indian” Speaker Seriesto honor Distinguished Indian professionals at prestigious international organizations, who have achieved unique milestones in their professional career and have made the country proud.
At this series theeminent speakers of Indian origin are invited to present talks in areas of their interest at this prestigious forum and AUG recognizes their exemplary contribution by honoring them with a citation and a trophy.
The inaugural talk was delivered on 9th July 2014 by Prof. BhagwanChowdhry, University of California; Los Angeles, USA. His research interest includes International Finance and Corporate Finance and Strategy. He has been on the editorial board of a number of finance journals. Prof. BhagwanChowdhry delivered a talk on:
“Love in the time of Market Failure: Diversification Strategies”
This series paves the way for global learning from distinguished faculties all around the world, understanding the best practices being followed worldwide in teaching, research and academia.
