Amity University Gurgaon Students Visited “Yakult Danone India Limited – Rai Industrial Park, Sonepat - Haryana.” on 28 Jan 2015
The industrial visit was a “FASCINATING FERMENTATION FACTORY “visit as per best of the comments quoted in their visitor book. The Manager QA - Mr. Vikas Kumar gave a very warm welcome and initiated with a presentation of industry with safety guidelines first and instructions regarding any emergency evacuation from the industry just like boarding a flight (Japanese Safety Protocol), followed by a very expressive presentation on history of Yakult and its innovator “Minoru Shirota”, how this probiotic products revolutionized the worldwide food biotech market and its presence in 33 nations. The second scientific presentation after a pause by offering a Yakult bottle to drink along with cookies, elaborated the whole bio processing of this fermented product with working principles on manufacturing to packaging. That was a fascinating experience for Biotech and Management students how technology is made affordable and saleable with novel concept
