Geographical Information Systems
GIS is a new discipline generating massive interest worldwide. During the last 3 decades, there has been a very rapid rate of theoretical, technological and organizational development in the GIS field. It is interdisciplinary in nature.
The objective of the event was
• To introduce the Geographical information systems to students.
• To explain the application of GIS in for various computer science and engineering.
