Plantation Drive at AUR

Plantation drive has been organized by National Service Scheme Units of Amity University Rajasthan Jaipur on 3rd of August 2018. On this occasion 150 plants of Amaltash were planted on road sides in the campus.

On this occasion Maj. Gen. C. P. Singh, Dean Students Welfare, welcomed the gathering and he appreciated the efforts of volunteers and support of horticulture and administrative staff. In his welcome address he informed the gathering that in Amity University Rajasthan since last three year the NSS units planted more than 750 plants, out of them 60% could survive.  Honorable vice chancellor Prof. Arun Patil planted a ceremonial tree and appealed the gathering specially students to plant tree. He conveyed the message that plantation is an essential task to breath in pollution free environment.

The NSS volunteers, faculty members and staff planted saplings with great joy and enthusiasm. On this occasion support of Dr. Manoj Kumar, Dr. Prashant Mishra, Mr. Mangal Singh Sisodiya, Mr. Anjani K Shukla (officers of NSS) was appreciable. Presence of Brig. G. S. Rathore,  OSD, Prof. G. K. Aseri, Prof. Ajay Jain, Prof. Jitender Singh, Prof. PVS Raju. Mr. Ashish Kumar along with other heads of institutes and several faculty members including namely Dr. Era Upadhyay, Dr. K. S. Verma, Dr. Amit Khandelwal, Dr. Ravneet Chug, Dr. Samsuddin made the event gracious. It also motivated the volunteers for this social and environmental cause.
