Amity School of Languages, AUM Organized The Orientation Programme

Amity School of Languages, AUM organized the orientation programme for the newly admitted students of B.A in English and French from August, 06, 2018 to August, 08,2018  with a view to make the parents and students aware of the rules and regulations and the academic aspects of the courses offered to them by the School.

Dr. Manjiree A. Vaidya, Head, Amity School of Languages welcomed the students and parents and informed them about the culture of the department, campus, and the University along with the course structure,  co- curricular and extra- curricular activities to be taken place during the semester. She also requested the students and parents to understand and abide by the institutional rules and norms.

Her address was presided over by the presentations by different coordinators of the department. Dr. Priti Bala Sharma, coordinator of Minor Track Programs, briefed the students about the pattern, rules and regulations of minor track program. Ms. Rima Dharne, Exam Coordinator for ASL elaborated all the rules related to the exam scheme and pattern. Ms. Gaytri Bhide, Amizone coordinator briefed the students about the Amizone. Dr. Pramod Jhaware, Library Coordinator of ASL informed the students about the central library, including total books, volumes and regulations of Library access. Mr. Harish, Academic Coordinator of ASL explained them about the disciplinary guidelines and mentor mentee sessions. He also appealed all the parents to keep a record of mentor mentee sessions and take part in Parent teacher Meet so that the academic, social and hostel related issues can be addressed and the wards can be groomed in the proper direction.

On the Second day of Orientation Programme, the students formally introduced themselves to the faculty. Later on, the students of Third Semester engaged all the students in various different activities. 

On the Third day of Orientation Programme, the students registered themselves on Amizone, Minor track and for Foreign Language Programme.
