Dietetics Day Celebration
Department of Dietetics and Applied Nutrition of Amity Medical School, Amity University Gurugram organised Body Mass Index camp and recipe competition on the occasion of Indian Dietetics Day on January 10th, 2018 with the theme of prepare nutrition recipe. On this occasion, the different counter was set for nutrition counselling.
The session begins with the measurement of height and weight with appropriate equipment and Body Mass Index was calculated then required modifications for the lifestyle were suggested. The judgement of the competition was done by Head of the Institution, Maj. Gen. Mahavir Singh along with two senior faculty member of Amity Medical School on the basis of recipe preparation and presentation, taste and nutritive value. On the basis of the scoring, three recipes were selected for the first, second and third prize. First prize went to Shelly Garg, second to Neha Vats and Pankhuri Gupta (all from M.Sc. IV semester).
