Amity University Madhya Pradesh hosts Farewell function for the final year students of B.Tech, B.Sc. (H) & M.Sc. Biotechnology

Amity Institute of Biotechnology hosted farewell function (Sayonaara)for the passing out batches of B.Tech (2013-17), B.Sc.(H) (2014-2017) and M.Sc. (2015-17) on 18th March 2017. “Sayonaara” farewell to final year students of AIB got a spectacular farewell from their juniors for their onward journey of corporate life or higher studies.

The program was organized by the students of First, Second & Third Year B.Tech, B.Sc. (H), M. Sc. and M.Tech. students of AIB. The program took the graduating batch on a stroll down the memory lane.The function was graced by Lt. Gen. V.K. Sharma, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, AVSM (Retd.), Prof. (Dr.) M.P. Kaushik, Pro-Vice Chancellor,  Prof. (Dr.) R.S. Tomar, Director-AIB &Dean (Academics), Mr. Rajesh Jain, Registrar, Mr. Amanpreet Randhawa, Director HR and HoIs of various institutes.

The evening started off with warm welcome of all the dignitaries. Junior students performed dance and other activities. Third year students spoke short poem for their seniors. Highlights of the evening were ramp walk by seniors. Titles of Mr.Eve and Miss Eve were given to Mr. Harshit Agrawal and Ms. Sonam Makhija respectively. Truly nostalgic was the video made by the organising team, knitting together umpteen moments of graduating batch’s memorable time spent at AIB. Hon’ble Vice Chancellor applauded the graduating batch for the all-round performance they had shown during their stay at AU MP and how they had helped to improve the quality and get AIB at a bench mark level. He wished outgoing students for their bright future and their forthcoming end semester examinations. He also highlighted that the maximum number of research publications is usually contributed by AIB. On this occasion,  Prof. (Dr.) R.S. Tomar, shared his feelings and remembered the days when these students and their parents approached him for admission in 2013 and 2014.  He thanked the students’ parents from the very core of his heart for showing their trust in Amity University, Gwalior. Prof. Tomar gave a glimpse of entire journey of senior batches at AIB. He inspired the students with certain quotes like “Life is like an ice-cream, enjoy it before it melts”, with this he gave a message to students that whatever be the circumstances or situation, always have a positive approach and be happy. All the dignitaries were invited for a group photograph with outgoing students. Students of fourth year expressed their feelings and memories during their stay at AIB. The farewell concluded with DJ party and dinner at the university lawn. On this occasion, AIB faculty members Dr. Raghvendra Kumar Mishra, Dr. Vikas Shrivastava, Dr. Shuchi Kaushik,  Dr. Anurag Jyoti, Dr. Raghvendra Saxena, Dr. Shushmita Shrivastava, Dr. Manish Kumar and Ms. Sharmishtha Banerjee were present.
