Amity University Noida & Greater Noida Campuses kick started their three day 17th Annual Research Conference & Business Summit “INBUSH ERA World Summit 2017”from February 8th – 10th, 2017 on the theme“Comprehension, Commitment, Courage & Collaboration (4 Cs): Converting ideas into logical outcomes for creating world class organizations” at Amity University Campus, Sector 125, Noida.
The much awaited magnum opus is being attended by Ambassadors, Vice Chancellors& Directors of premier Institutions, Foreign Diplomats, Corporate Heads,Media Personalities, top Academicians from India & Abroad and over thousands of delegates. The conference which is also considered as Biggest International Research Conference and Business Summit of Asia - INBUSH ERA World Summit; is being successfully organized for the last 16 years.
‘INBUSH ERA World Summit 2017’ was inaugurated by Prof. Nick Petford,Vice Chancellor, University of Northampton UK; Mr. Richard Everitt, Director Education,British Council; Prof. José Manuel Restrepo Abondano, President (Rector), Del Rosario University, Colombia; Mr. Pramod Saxena, Chairman, Oxigen Group, Ms. Pooja Chauhan, Vice Chairperson, Amity Humanity Foundation; Maj. Addressing the students, Prof. Nick Petford, Vice Chancellor, University of Northampton UK said that Amity University & University of Northampton are global academic partners. Apart from India, the cooperation with Amity is getting strong at Mauritius, Singapore also. Prof. Petford said that there is a need to change the old system of teaching to improve the future learning. He stressed on experiential learning – teaching to learning and learning to experiential learning. He defined four themes for changing the old model of study and education by – re defining and redeveloping the curriculum, by employability by digitalization, by internalization.
Mr.Richard Everitt, Director Education, British Council in his speech focused on employability and said that graduate must work closely with the industry to become industry ready. University should cooperate with industry and have industry oriented curriculum activities. He also preferred on use of technology to enhance the future learning and preparing the students to face the new challenges in the market.
Mr. Pramod Saxena, Chairman,Oxigen Group said that in the present decade, we are seeing large number of students coming up with ideas and venturing intostartups. He added that if a student gets help from entrepreneurs, industry,universities; he can create a wide pool of new age companies. He stressed that Universities can become a great participant of entrepreneurial development in the county. Speaking about Oxigen, Mr. Saxena shared that Oxigen has partnered with Government of India in realizing the concept of Make in India and also helping country to become cashless economy.
Delivering the welcome address ,Prof (Dr.) Gurinder Singh, Amity Group Vice Chancellor & Director General – Amity Greater Noida Campus & Amity International Business School said Research is the backbone of the Amity University and the purpose of ‘INBUSH ERA World Summit 2017’ is to ignite afire of research appetite in all the budding management leaders.” In INBUSH ERA, 1817 research papers have been received and 480 research papers have been produced. Addressing the students, Prof. Singh said that INBUSH provides an opportunity to listen to the front runners and leaders of different arena and to implement their experiences & thoughts to transform way of working& living. He added “Education is revolutionary and it is only through quality education that humanity can witness a positive change.
