ADHYATMIK JEEWAN- Season II

 

Amity Institute of Behavioral and Allied Sciences (AIBAS) organized spiritual plays on lives of great people titled “ADHYATMIK JEEWAN- Season II” on October10th, 2019 from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm at L3 auditorium.  Distinguished guest for the afternoon was Mr Harsh Murti, VP, Waves and a motivational speaker from ISKON, Noida.

 

Adi Shankrya said “The Soul appears to be finite because of ignorance. When ignorance is destroyed, the Self which does not admit of any multiplicity truly reveals itself by itself: like the Sun when the clouds pass away. Just as the fire is the direct cause for cooking, so without Knowledge no emancipation can be had. Compared with all other forms of discipline, Knowledge of the Self is the one direct means for liberation.”

 

The event began with lighting of the panchdeep and seeking blessings of the Almighty alongside rendering of  SarswatiVandana. Dr. Harish Kumar (HOI, AIBAS) addressed the audience with his views on spirituality and its importance in today’s materialistic life.  He also congratulated the students for the hard work they put in to bring life to the incidences from the life of great personalities like, Shri  Aurobindo, Swami Vivekanand and Gautam Budha and asked the students to imbibe the message they will get  from the stories.

 Mr. Harsh Murti was welcomed on the stage for enriching everyone with his valuable and noteworthy reflections on Exploring and Enabling the Self.  He began his address with the thought that " You and I are one-a divine family” and also enlightened all the students about the importance of living a stress free life.  This was followed by a brief presentation on the teachings of Bhagwad Gita. It was an interactive session for the students of AIBAS. He discussed the holistic wellness of the individual and how we should live a happy and contented life without anger and fear which can be achieved through simple living and high thinking.

 

The students of B.El.Ed 5 enacted short stories and role plays based on the lives of great saints, thinkers, philosophers and educationalist namely:  Swami Vivekananda, Shree Aurobindo and Gautam Buddha. The programme was well received by the students of AIBAS.

 

The aim of the program was to motivate the youth of today to become more positive human beings. To always see good in everyone, help the old and the destitute and bring happiness and joy in every one’s life. The program concluding  with a vote of thanks.
