FDP on “Pharma, Biotech, &Healthcare Industry 4.0 versus Education 4.0: A Global Perspective”
Amity Institute of Pharmacy in association with Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission, Cliniminds, Teva API (P) Ltd and Indian Pharmaceutical Association, U.P. Branch started with One-week Faculty Development Programme (FDP) from 1st to 5th July 2019 on the theme “Pharma, Biotech, &Healthcare Industry 4.0 versus Education 4.0 : A Global Perspective” at Amity University, Noida campus.
Faculty Members from GD Goenka, KR Mangalam (Gurugram), Innovative, IEC & NIET (Greater Noida) and Amity Institute of Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Neurosciences have participated in the training programme.
Mr. Kamal Shahani, MD, Cliniminds apprised about Artificial Intelligence and its applications in Pharma, Healthcare and Biotech Industry. He elaborated about Education 4.0 and advanced technologies used in the Industry using which can bring a revolution in the history of the Indian Education System. He stated that to bring forth the change in the academia, Gap analysis study, Upgradation of Syllabus, Industry Academia Workshop and Collaborative Industry Incubation are the required.
Dr. Farhaan Jalees, H.O.D., Dept. of Pharmaceutics, School of Pharm. Sciences, Jamia Hamdard University, Delhi correlated Academia with Industry and emphasized upon the need of training in latest industrial technologies to be incorporated in the curriculum.
Mr. P.K Jaggi, Ex-licensing Authority FDA, Delhi briefed about the regulatory norms and their amendments in 4IR world. He stressed that ethical practices in teaching must be followed and teachers should take training as well as they should be a lifelong learner. He gave an insight of Clinical Research Industry in 4IR world and shared his vast experience of Clinical Research Industry with the attending Faculty Members.
