Amity University signed an MoU with the Rejoice Health Foundation

 Amity University signed an MoU with the Rejoice Health Foundation at Amity University, Noida campus. The MoU was signed to promote wellness programs and improve community well-being in both the countries.

Dr. Hisato Kohyama, President, Rejoice Health Foundation (RHF), Japan expressed her delight over signing the MoU with Amity University to promote wellness programs and improve community well-being. She apprised that her organization, RHF, is committed to nurturing the wellness of children and adults in underserved communities. The organization is also committed for developing high-quality evidence-based programs and curriculum to improve community well-being. She averred that “We need some standard guidelines to make homeopathy acceptable in Japan. We understand the benefits and importance of homeopathic treatment and therefore we want to do clinical research in India.” She firmly asserted that both organizations would benefit from this collaboration.

Dr. A.K Gupta, Homeopathic Consultant apprised that homeopathy is a relatively new branch in the field of medical sciences. It has been there for almost 2 decades and has stood the test of time. Its non-reactive nature has made it popular among the Indian populace. Sharing his experiences, he told that “Sickness starts from the mind. Homeopathy has the ability to cure a disease in its initial phase.”

Dr. W. Selvamurthy, President, Amity Science, Technology and Education Foundation apprised that Amity has made some major breakthroughs in the field of homeopathy that have made the life of the common man much healthier and disease-free. He emphasized on the importance of yoga and averred that everyone must practice it in their everyday life. He stressed that good diet, exercise and positive attitude are the keys to good health in the long run. 

Mr. R. Rehman, Chairman, Ministry of Skill development said that both India and Japan are culturally very strong. He said that our main focus is on the development of healthcare. We are also trying to facilitate the process of employing people from the minority sections of India. We are also trying to create jobs in the field of medical sciences.
