Education Confluence 2019
To encourage the youth towards e-living and sustainable development, Amity Institute of Education (AIE) organized an Education Confluence 2019 on the theme “Envisioning Nav Bharat Yuva Bharat by 2022 : Preparation for E-living” today, at Amity University, Noida Campus. The programme aimed to familarize students with the concept of e-living and motivate them towards building an environment-friendly future.
Around 50 students from 15 schools across Delhi NCR including Bal Bhawan, Mayur Vihar; G.D Goenka Paschim Vihar; Vishwa Bharti, Amity International School, Saket; Bharti Public School, Swasthaya Vihar; Salwan Public School, Ghaziabad amongst others, participated in the competition.
Prof. (Dr) Alka Muddgal, Head, Amity Institute of Education apprised the students that AIE is constantly looking to expand its horizons and consolidate thoroughly on Education 4.0 wherein the knowledge that the students gain is attuned with the needs of the industry. She said that, to have a better future, we need the support of the Internet and Technology. “E-living, currently, is just a concept and we all must step forward to turn it into reality,” she added.
Major General Bhaskar Chakravarty, Director (Admissions) apprised about the various dimensions in which Amity university has made its mark. Addressing the students, he said that the idea of e-living is spread across various domains like education, commerce, AI, Energy generation, technology and environment. Witnessing the current growth in the field of technology and internet, it can be predicted that by 2022, no domain will remain untouched from the span of Internet. India is growing at a rapid pace and internet will definitely going to play an indispensable role in the growth of our country. We have the potential to make our future much better if we consolidate on the idea of e-living.
15 teams, comprising 3 students each, made presentaions on e-living and methods that can be used for implementing e- living across various domains in India.
Students and teachers from various schools of Delhi NCR and faculty members of the university were also present during the occasion.
