Amity Law School organizes 4th National Moot Court on 8th to 10th March at its Amity University Gurugram campus. Hon’ble Shri Justice A.K. Patnaik, Former Supreme Court Judge. Shri Karnal Singh, Former Director, Enforcement Directorate was the Guest of Honour at the opening ceremony and Inaugural Ceremony and Unveiling of Trophies the event was held at the hands of Hon’ble Shri Dipak Misra, Former Chief Justice of India. 42 Teams from the finest Law Institutions from across the Nation participated like National Law Universities, GLC Mumbai, ILS Pune, IIT Kharagpur, Delhi University, Symbiosis Law Schools, are participating.
The Chief Guest of the Valedictory Ceremony was Shri Suresh Chandra, Information Commissioner Central Information Commission and Former Law Secretary Government of India, Mr. Sudhir Choudhary, ,Col. R Balasubramanian(Retd.),Shri Biswajit Das. ManagingPartner Juris & Juris also graced the occasion.
The aim of conducting the event was that the students enhanced their analytical, research and writing skills that are crucial for growing into a successful lawyer. Practical Aspects and Clinical Aspects of Law that were dealt with both on Constitutional and Criminal helped the students in appreciating the finer nuances of Law.
Geeta Institute of Law, Panipat won the 4th National Moot Court competition.
