Guest lecture on International Hospitality Trends and Scenario

Amity Institute of Travel & Tourism, Amity University , Noida campus organized a guest lecture on International Hospitality trends and scenario. The speaker, Professor Dipro Jha, the Director of Global Engagement for the Hospitality and Tourism Management program at University of Nebraska – Lincoln in the United States, was the guest speaker.
As a recipient of the University Distinguished Teaching Award from Nebraska and the prestigious John Wiley & Sons Innovation in Teaching award, Prof. Jha holds a high esteem in the academia and industry as well. He is a global traveler with high academic acumen, frequently collaborating with the hospitality industry and bringing that knowledge back into the classroom. He had been a professor in Residence with some of the best known luxury brands - The Venetian hotel in Las Vegas, Jumeirah Group in Dubai and Oberoi Hotels here in India.
In today’s session, he emphasized on the global hospitality scenario and use of innovative methods in Hospitality industry. The interactive session had discussions on global challenges being faced by the industry. Being international women day today, he also spoke on the role of women in the growth of hospitality sector worldwide. Director Prof. (Dr.) M. Sajnani welcomed Prof. Jha and thanked him for his valuable guidance and insight on the subject. Prof. Chomplay, Faculty from Travel & Tourism and Hospitality Department along with senior university team were present during the session.
