Col OP Aurora Advisor Industry Interactionintroduced all the participants. Dr Balvinder Shukla, Vice Chancellor and LtGen PD Bhargava, Group Dy Vice Chancellor delivered the welcome address. About 200 students and faculty members fromASET, ABS and AIIT attended the meeting.
Shri Akhil Gupta presided over the VisionBoard meeting and invited all the industry leaders one by one to share theirthoughts and vision. Towards the end, he opened the floor for the participantsfor questions and answers and 4 – 5 students/faculty put up the questions tothe experts. He finally summed up all theproceedings.
Thedeliberations in the meeting have enriched our knowledge and understandingabout the upcoming technologies, product, services in the field oftelecommunications and this will facilitate in tweaking our academic activitiesto match with the aspirations of the industry.
TheTelecom Vision Board meeting at this point of time was much needed in view ofthe disruptions in the telecom sector.
