“The Annual Projects and Posters Technical Competition (APPTeC - 2017)” by Amity School of Engineering and Amity School of Engineering and Technology
Amity School of Engineering and Technology and Amity School of Engineering organized “The Annual Projects and Posters Technical Competition (APPTeC -2017)” on 23rd March2017 at University Campus, Sector-125, Noida
The competition aimed at stimulating research in students of Engineering, to provide a platform to share innovative and commercially/socially viable projects & startup Ideas, and to encourage networking amongst students and venture capitalists with similar interests.
More than 100 projects and 200 posters were presented by students of all engineering branches. The event turned to be an apt platform for young and budding engineers to showcase their talent. It gave them an opportunity to network and identify areas of interdisciplinary research. Teams of expert jury members who are veterans in their fields judged the entries in various categories i:e posters and projects in all the streams. To encourage students in research and innovation, three awards at Institute level were awarded for Most Socially Relevant Project, Most Commercially Viable Project and Most Frugal Innovation.
The event was inaugurated by Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Dr. Balvinder Shukla and Dr. W. Selvamurthy, President, Amity Science Technology and Innovation Foundation.
The students were highly enthusiastic and motivated for the event and their happiness knew no boundaries when they were appreciated by our most respected Founder President Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan and dynamic Chancellor & President RBEF, Dr. Atul Chauhan.
The event was first of the kind, which received an overwhelming participation from students across all the streams.
