Amity Law School Noida organises Hindi debate competition to mark the occasion of ‘Hindi Diwas’
Amity Law School Noida organized a Hindi debate competition to mark the occasion of ‘Hindi Diwas’ on the Topic: ‘Reservation for Youth below thirty years in the Parliament and Legislature’.
Fourteen Students from different semesters of Amity Law School participated in the competition. Seven students were for the motion and seven against the motion. The highlight of the competition was the presentation on National Issues and problems of the youth.
The panel of esteemed judges comprised of Dr Geetanjali Chandra, Mr. Alok Verma, Mr. Annirudh Vashisth and Dr Vijender Singh.
Maj.Gen.Nilendra Kumar, Director Amity Law School congratulated all on this occasion. He remarked about the relevance of Hindi in Law and Litigation and the need to spread awareness about the same. He also observed that the Hindi Debate and Moot court competitions have been encouraged at Amity Law School, Noida to acknowledge the essence of Hindi Language. He appreciated the zeal and enthusiasm of the students in making the event a grand success.
The First Prize Winner of the Debate Competition was Abhijeet Singh of Seventh Semester, while the second prize winner was Nikita Tanwar of Third Semester. The third prize winner of the competition was Ram Aditya of Fifth Semester. The Best Question was awarded to Nidhi Saroj of Third Semester.
