Mr. Deepak Kumar Dubey, Coach, Amity Shooting Club participated in 21st All India G.V. Mavalankar Shooting Championship and 55th National Shooting Championship Competition in Big Bore Rifle events at Kadarpur, Haryana from 22nd to 31st March 2012 brought Laural and pride to Amity University by winning three silver medals.

1. 300 m Rifle Men Prone - Silver Medal - Individual
2. 300 m Rifle Men Prone (Opn Cat.) - Silver Medal Team
3. 300 m Rifle Men Prone (Civilians Cat.)- Silver Medal Team
Teams from A.P, AIR India, Haryana, Punjab, Army, Air force, Maharastra, U.P Delhi, Chandigarh, Gujrat, Karnataka, Goa, OFSB, CRPF, Punjab Police, CISF participated in the champioship.
