Amity Institute of Education, New Delhi organised National Seminar on the theme “Excellence in Education: Special Significance for Teacher Education".
The session witnessed participants from various universities like Amity University, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi University, Mewar University, M.D University, C.C.S University. The paper presentations were spread over two sessions and each session was judged by a team of eminent professionals from education industry which comprised of the Principals of various Amity Schools, head and Principal of educational institutes.
The winners of the event were felicitated by honorable Dr. (Mrs.) Amita Chauhan, Chairperson, Amity International Schools. She handed over the trophy to the best paper presenter.
The theme led to a very enlightening and thought evoking session, which advised and advocated innovations in the teaching-learning process. It provided food for thought and inspired the audience to undergo a process of retrospection and to reflect on the prevalent practices in the field of Teacher Education. A large number of presentations were made. Each participant was awarded a certificate and a memento in the form of a motivational book with a personalized message from Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan, Founder President, Ritnand Balved Education Foundation.
The audience was addressed by Prof. A.K.Sharma with meaningful insights and personal experiences. Chairperson Madam in her concluding remarks emphasized the need of compassion, cultured personal conduct and humility in teachers for the happiness of the society. Dr. Ranjana Bhatia, Prof. & Principal, Amity Institute of Education, Saket, New Delhi thanked the participants for their contribution in making this event a success.
