Amity Institute of Psychology and Allied Sciences organises an Exhibition on Social Awareness Programme during Amity Human Values Quarter
Amity Institute of Psychology and Allied Sciences (AIPS), Noida organized an Exhibition on Social Awareness Programme (SAP)-We Care for You: Sensitizing Youth towards Differently Abled for Societal Inclusive Growth on Thursday, 1st of March, 2012, during the Human Value Quarter celebrations.
The Program began with a Prayer for Differently abled people composed by students of MA Counselling Psychology and MA Applied Psychology Semester IV. All the students & faculty members of AIPS conducted the Prayer to hope for strength and well being of differently abled.
the Prayers wishing for the happiness & comfort of the Disabled beings were also conducted at the respective Behavioral Science Classes across AUUP, Noida by AIPS Students at various Amity Higher Institutions. During the same, the Pamphlets containing social messages of spreading joy to the world, dispersing the word of Equality and producing sensitization amongst youth for the rights of the Differently abled were distributed by AIPS students across AUUP as an endeavour to promote Equality & Empathy.
The display of Posters, Calendars, Wall Hangings & T-shirts made by AIPS students at the C-Block Foyer generated significantly valuable social awareness among Amity Students & others towards differently abled & their needs. Senior officials from Other Amity Higher Institutions along with students and faculty members of AIPS, AITTM and AIBHAS also assembled in C-Block Foyer during the second half of the Day for Prayer by AIPS students for Differently abled individuals.
Audio Visual Presentation on Differently Abled People were also shown to all the students, HOI’s and faculty members to endorse the acceptance, the uniqueness and equality of each individual for betterment of Community Health.
Students of MA Counselling Psychology visited various Behavioral Science classes across Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Noida to promote the objectives and to raise the voice for the differently abled. They visited various Amity Higher Institutions including AIB, AIBHAS, ASFT, ASAP, AIFT, AIESR, AIIT, ASET, AIAE, AIRAE, AIP and their Initiative was appreciated by all students. All the students were sensitized to come forward and help differently abled people.
