Amity Institute of Telecom Technology and Management organises Street Play on Human Trafficking during Amity Human Value Quarter
As part of Human Values Quarter, students of AITTM, MBA Telecom, Batch 2012, tried to generate awareness amongst students, faculty and staff , towards the problem of human trafficking prevalent in our society ,through a street play, presented in Sector 125 campus in front of D-Block Cafeteria, on 2nd March 2012.
The students raised issues of women trafficking and child trafficking through their street play. The fifteen minutes skit depicted how dupes misled innocent women by giving false promises of money and glory and put them into trafficking. Also how under the influence of liquor poverty driven families push their children to begging by selling them off to earn money.
The objective of the skit was to educate the audience of such issues and to encourage everyone to raise voice against such hideous crimes towards women and children which are rottening and damaging our social structure.
