Carleton University, Canada signs MoU with Amity University

Dr. Roaseann O’Reilly Runte, President of Carleton University, Canada signed an MoU with Amity University to explore the opportunities in the area of student and faculty exchange programmes.

This Memorandum would cover Business Management disciplines that are offered by the two institutions in the area of:
1. Collaboration between Amity- Directorate of Innovation & Technology Transfer and Carleton’s Sprott Organized Research Unit- Research Centre for Technology Management
2. Collaboration between Amity- International Centre for Post Harvest Technology & Cold Chain Management and Carleton/Sprott School of Business supply chain management researchers
3. Collaboration between Amity Business management wing such as Amity Business School, Amity School of Business, and Amity International Business School and Carleton Sprott School of Business for joint education programming, joint research projects, and faculty and student exchange.

While addressing the gathering, Dr. Roaseann O’Reilly Runte expressed her views and interests in combining cultures and knowledge from all over the World to fight the problems of the World. She said, “crossing boundaries of culture and combining efforts can lead to Unity and World Peace”. She also mentioned that suffering and poverty must be solved with the right usage of education. This collaboration of the two universities will help students to combine their subjects with more creativity and innovation as part of their education.

Founder President Dr. Ashok. K. Chauhan of Amity Group expressed keen interest in this affiliation and remarked that apart from management programmes, nanotechnology as a subject, as well as profession, would provide the World with more experts in this field.

During the signing ceremony, both the universities made presentation in front of the august gathering and Dr. Runte lauded the beautiful and sprawling campus of Amity University.
