Amity organizes Homeopathic Wellness Camp on the occasion of World Homeopathy Day

To commemorate World Homeopathy Day, Amity Institute of Pharmacy (AIP) organized a Homeopathic Wellness Camp in association with Dr. Willmar Schwabe India and Noida Homeopathic Medical Association   at University Campus, Sector 125, Noida.

During the camp, free consultations, expert opinions and counseling from eminent Homeopathic Practitioners were provided to the patients. Also, free medication and check-ups for Blood Sugar, Blood Pressure and BMI were conducted.

Addressing the gathering, Prof.(Dr.) Bhudev C. Das– Chair Professor &  Chairman -Amity Institute of Molecular Medicine & Stem Cell Research said that nowadays, Homeopathy is one of the major practices that are used to cure the diseases worldwide. He averred that Homeopathy treatment has a gentle and holistic approach for healing. The benefits of homeopathic medicine are slowly extending to different ailments and health conditions including various acute and chronic health problems.

Highlighting the growth of Homeopathy in India, Dr.Gagandeep Ahuja, Ahuja Clinic, Sector 48, Noida said that Homeopathy witnessed a growth of 26.4% from last year itself which is largely due to effectiveness and efficacy of homeopathic medicines. The Indian Homeopathy market is growing much faster than the global market. He averred that Homeopathy is a medical science without side effects as it uses a unique way of treatment by stimulating body’s own healing power. Dr. Ahuja opined that many medical scientists are conducting strong researches on homeopathy which will help in further growth and integration of Homeopathy into health care systems.  He called upon participants to take homeopathic treatments for even minor diseases as it is economical, safe and effective.

Speaking during the occasion, Dr. Rahul Tiwari, Dr.Rahul Tiwari Clinic, Sector 11, Noida said that with growing awareness on effective treatment through homeopathy, people from all walks of life are consulting homeopathic doctors even for those diseases which have no cure in allopathic or any other medical science. He pointed out that though homeopathy is becoming a rage in India, yet there is a need for awareness about the working of the homeopathic medicines which is not only about cure but also the holistic management of human system.

During the day long camp, 14 Homeopathic Doctors consulted more than 500 patients including students, faculty members and staff of Amity.
