Amity Institute of Behavioural and Allied Sciences celebrates Hindi Diwas

Amity Institute of Behavioural and Allied Sciences (AIBAS), AUUP conducted a Competition “Hindi Bhasha ki kahaniapni Jubani” at University Campus, Sector-125, Noida.

Thirty one students from seventeen Primary and Secondary Schools of Delhi NCR participated in the competition.

The programme was inaugurated by Head, Amity Institute of Education (AIE) and AIBAS ,Dr. Alka Muddgal and mentor of AIE and AIBAS, Prof. (Dr.) Ranjana Bhatia by lighting the lamp followed by Saraswati Vandana.

Dr. Alka Muddgal,during her welcome address, highlighted the importance of Hindi language.  She emphasized on changing the perception towards Hindi Language and nurturing a sense of belongingness to the language and rich cultural tradition it carries along with itself.

Prof. (Dr.) Ranjana Bhatiaalso aroused a sense of pride and achievement in the hearts of audience by highlighting the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and motivated the students to make their nation proud

Presentations were made by participants in two categories i.e. Primary and Secondary. The students presented their emotions and respect towards Hindi language through poems,stories and presentations.

It was an enriching experience for both the organizers as well as the participants of the events. The enthusiasm received by school students was note worthy. All the participants enjoyed the event with the enthusiastic performance of schoolchildren.

The winners were:

Primary:                I Prize- Sohan Sharma, IVClass from A.E.S Andhra Education society

                           II Prize- Riya Pradhan, IV Class from D.P.S Greater Noida

Secondary:           I Prize- Aditya Pratap Singh, VII Class from Sapphire International    School

                             II Prize- Nisha, Samiksha, X Class from Army Public School)

The spirit of the participants was uplifted by the distribution of participation certificates.The prizes were awarded to first and second position winner in each category.

The vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. Mahima Gupta, Faculty AIBAS.
