Renowned Indo-American Computer Scientist Dr. Satish K. Tripathi conferred Honorary Professorship at Amity University

In recognition of enormous contribution in the field of academics, Amity University conferred Honorary Professorship upon Dr. Satish K. Tripathi, President of the University of Buffalo (UB), part of the State University of New York (SUNY) system at University Campus, Sector 125, Noida.
Expressing his gratitude, Dr. Satish K. Tripathi said that he is honored to be part of Amity which is known for its global education. He mentioned that the foundation of a University is based on its academic excellence. He stressed that to build a distinguished university; it must possess two major components which are quality of education and quality of faculty. Dr Tripathi averred that it is critical to discover the best of talent and should be a core mission to recruit and retain the best of faculty. He also briefed about University of Buffalo and said that UB is a globalized campus with 5400 international students studying in the University. He further added the intuition has research association with various prominent International Universities and look forward for a potential collaboration with Amity.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. (Prof.) BalvinderShukla, Vice Chancellor, Amity University Uttar Pradesh lauded the contribution of Dr. Satish K. Tripathi as a renowned Indo-American Computer Scientist & Academic Administrator. She mentioned that he Amity is proud to work together with Dr Tripathi who has published more than 200 scholarly papers, supervised 25 Doctoral Students and served on programme committees of numerous International Conferences.
During the visit, Dr. Satish K. Tripathi was taken for a round of campus including Central Library, Amity Innovation Incubator and E-Learning. He appreciated the huge contemporary infrastructure, up-to-date laboratories and faculty of Amity.
