Students of Amity University rack their brains during Sports Quiz, held as part of Sangathan 2016
As a part of Sangathan – 2016-month long, mega Inter- Institutional Sports Meet, a Sports Quiz was organized for the students of all Amity Institutions of Noida Campus Both online and on-spot registrations were held. Total 110 teams participated from various Institutes of Noida campus.
The Round-I was written round which comprised of 20 questions based on different sports and this was elimination round. Based on score of round – I, top 6 teams were selected for the final round. There was very tough competition amongst the teams as maximum and minimum scores were 28and 25 out of 40 respectively of the best 6 teams.
During the final round, there were 5 rounds of 3 questions each. Finally, VRISHTI YADAV (M.Sc. -Biotechnology) and RAVI SHANKAR T. NAAGAR (B.TECH + M.TECH.-Biotechnology)from Amity Institute of Biotechnology won with the score of 55, followed by DEEPANSHUGARG and NAMAN WADHWA (MBA- General) from Amity Business School with the score of 35 and ROSHAN SHAHI and VAIBHAV MITTAL (B. Tech- Biotechnology) Amity Institute of Biotechnology with the score of 30 respectively.
The quiz was conducted by renowned quiz master Mr Gautam Bose, CEO Greycells and organized by Prof. (Dr.) K. M. Soni, Dy Dean –Engg. and Tech. and coordinated by Ms. Shweta Yadav – Amity School of Engineering and Technology, Ms. NehaPareek – Amity School of Architecture and Planning, Dr. Anubha Srivastava – Amity Business School, Dr. Maansi Vermani -Amity Institute of Biotechnology, Ms. Rajshree Singh – Amity School of Business,Mr. Mayank Kapila - Amity Law School, Noida as the faculty coordinators.
