Amity Institute of Education, AUUP celebrates Hindi Diwas
The poetic recitals by young school students in Hindi from over 25 schools based in Delhi and NCR reverberated the F 2 Seminar Hall during "Ehsaas: Hindi Kavya Path "organized by Amity Institute of Education (AIE), AUUP.
The event received enthusiastic participation from over 40 students who beautifully recited the poems of great poets such as Shri Harivansh Rai Bachchan, Om Vyas Om, Suryakanth Tripathi ‘ Nirala’, Gopaldas Neeraj, Subhadrakumari Chauhan, Kaka Hathrasi, Bhawani PrasadMishra,Shiv Mangal Singh ‘Suman’ , Ayodhya Singh, Praful Joshi, Arun Mittal,DrArchana Panda . The students also recited famous ancient poetic masterpieces such as "Dohas" by Kabir and Rahim Das, ‘Ramcharitmanas’ of Tulsidas.
The event was inaugurated by Prof ( Dr ) Ranjana Bhatia, Mentor ,AIE and Dr Alka Muddgal , Head of Institute, AIE, Amity University Uttar Pradesh by lighting the auspicious lamp.
Prof (Dr )Ranjana Bhatia accentuated the role of today’s youth in the proliferation of Hindi language by calling them as the ‘karnadhaar’ . She entreated all faculty members, participants ,audience and guests to make significant contribution in the progress of Hindi Language.
Dr AlkaMuddgal reinstated the significance of Hindi Language in Nation building and called upon every citizen of our country to use Hindi language with a sense of pride and not limit its use to a single day or fifteen weeks.
The judges for the event were Dr. Vijay Pandey, Senior Faculty, AIPS and Dr. Alpana Kakkar, Deputy Dean, Students’Welfare , AUUP and Mrs Suman Tiwari ,Faculty, G D Goenka, Greater Noida .
Aditya Pratap from Sapphire International School, Noida was declared the Winner,first runner up was Bhupendra Bhatti from G D Goenka, Greater Noida and the second runner up were the duo ,Noor Sharma and Stuti Kakkar from Amity International School, Saket
