Students from Lady Irwin College visits Amity Institute of Education, Noida
As a part of innovative EducationExchange Program, the students of faculty of Education, Lady Irwin College,University of Delhi visited Amity Institute of Education, Amity University.
Welcoming the guests and giving aPresentation, Dr Alka Muddgal, Head of Amity Instituteof Education, AUUP introduced them to Amity Universe, innovative programmesoffered by Amity University, R& D initiatives, achievements of students andfaculty members, state of the art infrastructure and facilities offered byUniversity.
Quoting Charles Darwin, Dr.Muddgal said , “Those who have learnt to collaborate and improvise mosteffectively have prevailed” and emphasized that collaboration between AmityInstitute of Education and the Lady Irwin College would synergize the strengthsof both the Institutions and would prove to be mutually beneficial for both theInstitutions.
During the visit as part of the colorful Cultural Program, the studentsof both the Institutions celebrated Gandhi Jayanti and remembered the virtuesof peace, equality, unity and honesty, practiced and promoted by the “Father ofthe Nation during his lifetime”.
The students of AIE and LadyIrwin College were divided into groups for discussion on various topics relatedto education. The discussion proved to be very fruitful for the students whowere enriched with the mutual knowledge sharing.
The students from Lady Irwin College were takenaround the Campus and were familiarized with fully equipped studio of AmitySchool of Mass Communication, Amity’s Community Radio and Central Library. Thestudents appreciated the lush green, magnificent Campus of Amity and thecontemporary infrastructure and facilities which adds to the quality ofeducation delivered in Amity.
