Delegation from Yuntech Business School and Yunlin University of Science and Technology, Taiwan visit Amity University

A delegation from Yuntech BusinessSchool and Yunlin University of Science and Technology, Taiwan visited Amity University, Noida to promote bilateral exchange.

The delegation was led by Prof. Arthur Cheng-Hsui Chen, Dean of the Management College, from Yuntech B,School (YBS)along with Ms. Belinda Cheng, Dr. Sunita Agarwal, Director of Multinational Business Academy and 19 students of Yuntech Business School and Yunlin University of Science and Technology who were welcomed by Prof. (Dr.) Gurinder Singh, Group Additional Vice Chancellor, Amity; Dr. Sanjeev Bansal, Director, Amity Business School and Brig. S K Dubey, Deputy Director, Amity School of Business.

 Addressing the gathering, Dr. Gurinder Singh said that Amity University has been running Taiwan Education Centre in its campus wherein 4 instructors from Taiwan teach Mandarin Chinese to students. Dr. Singh enlightened the students about relationship building and said that relationship building is an art and one of the most important career attribute for achieving success. He opined that if a person wants to become a great leader or entrepreneur then he/she should have a good idea and should know how to translate it onto feasible venture. Dr. Gurinder suggested for joint filing of patents in the area of Behavioral Science and Management.

During the visit, Prof. Arthur Cheng-Hsui Chen expressed his heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to Amity for being so supportive and hosting the delegation visit from Taiwan. He added that Yunlin University and Amity University share the similar vision and mission of providing world class education to the students.

During the discussion, various areas for collaborations were discussed including India-Taiwan Immersion programme, student exchange programme, faculty exchange programme and joint research.

During the visit, an interactive session between the student of Yuntech Business School and Yunlin University of Science and Technology and students of Amity University was conducted during wherein students from both the Universities pertinent questions on various issues related to their respective programs and Universities.
