Max Life Insurance Co. drives big win over New Gen Technology in the inaugural match during 13th Amity Insurance Cricket Cup Tournament

Amity School of Insurance, Banking and Actuarial Science started with“13th Amity Insurance Cricket Cup Tournament”.
The CricketTournament will be played for 2 months and culminate in February 2015. The mainobjective of the tournament is to raise money and contribute to the noble causeof educating underprivileged girls enrolled under philantrophic project“Amitasha” of Amity Humanity Foundation. 16teams from Insurance & Banking Sector have participated in the tournament.
The inaugural match was played between Max Life Insurance Co.& New Gen Technology (IT Co) wherein Max Life technology won the match by 20runs.
Welcomingthe gathering Prof. R R Grover, Advisor,Amity School of Insurance, Banking & Actuarial Sciences said that thejourney of Amity Insurance has been long and has always been a great contributorin raising funds for Amitasha. He further added that the main purpose oforganizing the tournament is to provide better future to the underprivilegedgirls and Insurance, Banking & IT companies have provided great support tothe noble cause. He wished good luck to all the teams and encouraged them to playwith sportsmanship.
During thematch, Max Life Insurance Co. won the toss and elected to bat first. The teamshowed an aggressive start with the strong support of batting line up. Mr. Sachinof Max Life Insurance Co. Team scored a magnificent 51 runs that helped theteam to manage 138 runs in 20 overs.
During the second half of the match, Batsman Tarunopened the account of New Gen Technology team. Soon, the bowlers of max LifeInsurance overpowered the batsmen of New Gen Technology lost their wickets in19 overs.
