Prof. (Dr.) Balvinder Shukla – Vice Chancellor, Amity University, Uttar Pradesh has been conferred upon "Newsmakers Achievers Award 2014" by Newsmakers Broadcasting & Communication (NBC) Pvt. Ltd. during their 5th Newsmakers Achievers' Award 2014 function held at Hotel Trident, Mumbai.
Dr. Shukla has over 22 years of experience with organizations such as Amity Group of Institutions, Shimmit Group, Interra Software and IIHT Systems. Her core competencies in areas of establishing new business, HR Planning, recruitment and development as per business needs, process establishments has aided in the growth and development of the organizations she has been associated with. She has presented many papers in seminars, conferences at national and international level.
While receiving the honor, Dr. Shukla thanked NBC for acknowledging her efforts and dedicated her achievement to Amity which provided her an apt platform to empower the youth of the nation with world class education. She emphasized that such honors and awards motivates a person to keep working hard for the cause of society. She vouched to bring a substantial change in society and make India a Superpower by heralding an education revolution in the country through the chain of Amity Educational Institutions.
