She addressed the students and mentioned that today Lifestyle Journalism is one of the fastest growing segments in print and electronic media. It is also one of the most sought-after. Ruchika shared her experience and mentioned that she started writing on Lifetsyle at a time when it was just being introduced in the print media, especially in daily newspapers. And since then she has taken this entire genre to a different level, leading the charge in print media. She shared her journey from a beginner to her current profile wherein she is reckoned among the top few lifestyle journalists in India.
Ms. RUCHIKA MEHTA has been a leading lifestyle journalist for over 20 years now. She is currently the EDITOR of HELLO! magazine, the world’s leading celebrity magazine. She set up and launched the Indian edition of HELLO! is 2006 as the launch Editor and, has since made it as one of the leading magazines in India today. She has been working with the Times Group for the last 12 years now.
