New session of MBA Programmes commences at Amity University

The three day orientation ceremony for the students of batch 2013-15 from MBA- General, MBA- International Business, MBA-3 Continent, MBA-HR, MBA-Rural Management, MBA- NGO Management, MBA- Retail Management, MBA- Sales and Marketing, M.Com and Masters in Finance Management started at Amity University, Sector-125, Noida.
The Ceremony commenced with Havan, invoking the blessings of God.
Dr. (Mrs.) B Shukla- Acting Vice Chancellor, Amity University, Dr. Sanjay Srivastava- Dean, Faculty of Management Studies, Amity University, Dr. Sanjeev Bansal- Director, Amity Business School, Prof. (Dr.) Arun Sacher- Addl. Director, Amity International Business School and Prof. Shipra Maitra- Director, Amity College of Commerce and Finance blessed the students.
According a warm welcome to the students, Dr. (Mrs.) B Shukla- Acting Vice Chancellor, Amity University said that their respective institutions will provide them best facilities, resources and infrastructure and it depends on them how they make best use of the opportunity given to them. She advised students to value their time as currency and be honest to themselves and their parents, since it’s the most important phase of their lives and a stepping stone into the Corporate world.
Over 1500 students attended the Orientation ceremony along with their parents which was followed by a session during which the students were familiarized with Rules and Regulations of the University, Code of Conduct, Academic Guidelines, Anti- ragging Policy, Safety and Security, Academic Calendar, Examination Schedule. The freshers were also enriched during the talk by alumni wherein they shared their success stories with their juniors and mentored them.
