Amity Institute of Corporate Communication organises Workshop on “Art of Speaking”

Amity Institute of Corporate Communication (AICC) organised a Workshop on “Art of Speaking” at Amity Campus, Sector-125, Noida.

The distinguished guests present during the workshop included the Chief Guest, Dr. Vikas Sharma- HOD (English) DAV PG College, Bulandshar (UP) and Secretary for CETA (College English Teachers Association), Ms. Dolly May Ryall, Director of Studies, The London Centre of Spoken English and Mr. Rajiv Mudgil, CEO, The London Centre of Spoken English.

Ms. Lekha Rani Singh- Assistant Professor, Amity Institute of Corporate Communication gave the welcome address

Mr. Rajiv Mudgil shared the importance of spoken skils and soft skils with the students.

Ms. Dolly May Ryall addressed the students where she emphasized the importance of neutral English in International Business. She also highlighted the importance of English speaking and how to deliver powerful message.

Capt. H A Arfi (IAS Retd.) Director, AICC gave a bird’s eye view of the Workshop and emphasized on the relevance of speaking skils in the present scenario and highlighted the benefits which students could avail from the workshop.

Dr Indu Rampal presented a PowerPoint presentation on ''Art of Speaking'' through which she highlighted the importance of 7 C''s of Communication and shared numerous ways to improve pronunciation.

Dr. Vikas Sharma spoke on the importance of reading Literature and how it can enhance their speaking skils.

Mr. Devesh Kumar Sharma delivered the vote of thanks.

The workshop was attended by students of Amity School of Engineering and Technology and Amity Institute of Information Technology. The students were very much inspired by the powerful personality of the speakers from AICC and the Guest Speakers.
