Polo for Charity, Amity Polo Cup begins at Jaipur Polo Ground
The eagerly awaited annual Polo tournament, Amity Polo Cup begins today at Jaipur Polo Grounds with the first match played between Cavalry USPA and Army Supply Core teams followed by match between Cavalry TJP Vs. APRC. Amity Polo Cup Tournament is a week long mega event. Amity Polo Cup better known as Polo for charity is organized for the support of underprivileged girl children. This year the tournament was inaugurated by Mrs. Pooja Chauhan Vice Chairperson, Amity Humanity Foundation.
The inaugural match of the Amity Polo Cup was contested between Cavalry USPA and Army Supply Core (ASC) in which the former scored 7 and ASC scored 6½ goals. Thus Cavalry USPA winning this match by 7-6½ goals. The second match of the day was played between Cavalry TJP Vs. APRC. Cavalry TJP won the match by scoring 9 goals and APRC scored 2½ goals.
The Exhibition match and the Finals will be played on February 26, 2012.
