Amity School of Engineering and Technology organises Corporate Meet 2011
Corporate Resource Centre, Amity School of Engineering and Technology organised Corporate Meet 2011 on September 09, 2011.
Dr. Balwinder Shukla, Pro VC (A), AUUP, Lt. Gen. P.D. Bhargava, DG, AITTM and Mentor, ASET, Prof. K. M. Soni, Acting Head, ASET, Dr. Alka Munjal, Director, Amity School of Business were present during the corporate meet.
Speaking on the occasion, Lt. Gen. P.D. Bhargava, DG, AITTM welcomed the corporates and said that people from Industry are shaping the future of our students. Lt. Gen. Bhargava said that academicians have a important role to teach the students about the prinicples of Engineering.
Dr. Balwinder Shukla, Pro VC(A), AUUP said that we can not develop talent without the coorperation between industry and academia. We have to take this relationship to a new heights so that new talents can be brought forward.
Corporates from the different industries were present during the corporate meet. During the occasion, Ms. Taranjeet Kaur, System Manager, TCIL said industrial training is very important factor in the life of the student. Industry training is the application of the principles which student had studied in the college.
Prof. Shiban Kisan Kaul, IIT Delhi said that mentoring program for students is very important for overall development of student. In IIT we have mentorship program for students in which mentors are not only from corporate world but from other spehere of lives also.
During the occasion a book titled "Summary of Summer Internship Project book" was also released.
Students, faculty and Senior officials from ASET and Amity University were also present during the corporate meet.
