Respect your Indian values and morals avers Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan, Founder President, Amity Universities during the Convocation of Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture & Technology, Udaipur

Indian values, morals and Indian Sanskriti are not to be forgotten while pursuing professional goals, avers Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan, Founder President of Amity Universities while delivering the convocation address as Chief Guest during the Second Convocation of College of Technology & Engineering and College of Dairy & Food Science Technology, the two constituent colleges of Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture & Technology (MPUAT), Udaipur, held today.

Dr. Chauhan congratulated all the graduants and expressed hope that tomorrow they will be future leaders of corporate world and the society as well the country has high expectations from them.

Dr Chauhan urged the students not to forget our sanskriti and respect for elders and undaunted faith in GOD for which our country is known for, as it is only through the combination of these traits that anybody can achieve success in their career.

Dr. Chauhan also remarked that Indian brain is just unparallel and it is due to the contribution of our youth in all walks of life that there has been phenomenal growth which has tremendously enhanced the prestige of the country and today India is being seen by the entire world as a potential super power in the coming decades.

Prior to the convocation, while inaugurating the independent building for holding classes and conducting lab work/classes for first year engineering students, set up by MPUAT on public-private partnership basis, Dr Chauhan applauded the initiative taken by College of Engineering & Technology and remarked that this was a unique effort on the part of the university. He also opined that to achieve success one has to always have high dreams and the determination to achieve the desired goals.

Dr Chauhan complimented MPUAT for its painstaking efforts in creating awareness for some of the unique courses which have a vast scope for professional growth for our students.

A total number of 627 students who graduated in different Engineering streams were conferred upon degrees and 17 top rankers were also awarded gold medals.

Dr. S.S. Chahal, Vice Chancellor of MPUAT while welcoming the Chief Guest, and other distinguished guests presented a brief report on the activities of the University and the various new courses started by the university in the last few years.

Dr Maya Chaudhary, Dean College of Diary & Food Science Technology also gave a brief progress report regarding placement activities and details of the infrastructure added to the college during the last few years.
