Freshers of Amity University participate in Delhi Times Fresh Face competition
It was dream come true for the freshers of Amity University when Delhi Times Fresh Face visited the campus and gave them an opportunity to showcase their beauty and brain.
The contest saw the humungous participation of freshers. Over 500 freshers from various undergraduate courses of Amity participated in the First Round wherein they were suppose to introduce themselves. Those who were selected unanimously by the crowd comprising of students and teachers made it to the second round.
During the second round, 15 shortlisted participants were asked to showcase any one of their talents on the stage. Most of the participants chose to shake their leg on groovy numbers.
During the last round, the finalists walked the ramp and answered the interesting and witty questions of the esteemed judges. The judges had a tough time deciding the winners. After much discussion, Ms. Ramandeep Dhillon from B. Tech- Bioinformatics and Akshay Sehgal from Amity School of Communications were announced Delhi Times Fresh Faces. Ms. Pareena Chopra from Amity School of Fashion Technology and Mr. Devrath Rosa from Amity School of Communications were announced first Runner ups in male and female categories respectively. Ms. Konika Kant from Amity School of Communications and Mr. Utsav Kr. Jha from Amity School of Engineering were announced Second Runner ups.
The students were judged by Senior Journalists from The Delhi Times- Ms. Garima Sharma and Ms. Nikhila Pant and famous RJs Shrey and Manish from Radio Mirchi .The RJs also selected 10 lucky students who will get a lucky chance to visit Radio Mirchi studio for exclusive excursion. The selected freshers were Kanika Joshi, Sanya Kumar, Ramandeep Dhillon, Mannat Sandhu, Devrath Rosa, Yatin, Dhristi Chopra, Mohin and Utsav Jha.
