Amity Institute of Telecom Technology and Management Organized Guest Lecture Session for its Students
AITTM invited Mr Davider Kathuria – Lead Manager, Site Design Engineer from Nokia Siemens Networks to address its of MBA – Telecom Management and final year students of B.Tech – E&T on ‘Green Energy in Telecom’, one of the most sought after and contemporary topic of today for the entire industry. This was the second Guest Lecture Session organized by AITTM in the current session.
Mr. Kathuria spoke on
renewable sources of energy required for Telecom industry. The topic was covered under the following heads:
• Solar Solution
• Wind Solution
• Smart Controller and
• Fuel Cells
Under Solar Solution, he explained the students on
importance of Solar Energy for generation of power and explained solar insolations across India. Under Wind Solution Mr. Kathuria elaborated on the
different types of wind turbines and highlighted their advantages and disadvantages. He then touched upon
the technology available for Smart Controller and elaborated on various aspects of its operational working. The lecture was concluded with a brief on
Fuel Cell Technology and its operations.
The lecture ended with an interactive session with the students during which Mr. Kathuria replied to students’ queries.
